In our current era, many of us have become comfortable in the purchase of online articles. Buy online gave us many positive aspects such as: how to better, more choice and rare and unusual discoveries. For the most part, online sales have been a great experience for the most part, any company, they do business with.
Sometimes, however, there are there companies who want to take advantage of people. Other times, they are companies that are not managed properly, and the owner does not care customer service. In any event, the client leaves empty handed, benefited from their money.
The good news is that we can take steps to help avoid the consumer in such a situation. This article is dedicated to lingerie scam sites, service horrible customer or sites to ship any order or the order. Before entering it, I will provide references to see specific information about these companies.
1 http://www.RipoffReport.com: this site is where consumers view their situation they met with a company.
2 http://www. http://us.bbb.org: Better Business Bureau. The BBB allows a consumer to check and see if any complaints have officially filed. I would suggest running the company through this audit before dealing with them. (Please keep in mind: sometimes a company will not display, this does not mean that they are a bad company.) (This means that no complaints have been filed against them.)
So let's get to it:
Our first competitor is Doxy Lingerie (http://www.doxylingerie.com). This in fact me surprised because they have a decent Web page. The Web page is usually very revealing of the company whether or not trustworthy. The only thing that stands out to me is the price. Some of their prices are "too good to be true". In other words, they do not align with the General market for the most part. And we know all something that is too good to be true…
I have first connected in ripoffreport.com. They have a very long list of dissatisfied customers. Most of the complaints have been clients who have never received their product. The other dominant complaint was that the client received the half of their order. When clients attempt to contact the company, these are the results:
1. No response to the e-mail is sent (and most of the consumer sent several)
2 Phone busy
3 Mailbox full and cannot leave a message
4 Person responds and then cursed to the consumer, and hangs up
The most recent complaints were of the Halloween season. Many people were out of luck on their costumes, they have paid good money for (anywhere from 50.00 $-200,00 $). When the request for reimbursement for any receipt for the item, the representative of the company would not give back their money, store any credit.
After further investigation, I learned that they have a legal issue they treat. This can be accessed at: http://stlouis.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=142&bbb=0734&firm=310040738
Then, we have Lingerie.com (http://www.lingerie.com). I've included this site because they have an unsatisfactory rating on the BBB. If someone takes the time to write to the BBB, it is a fair assumption that they could not get in contact with the company or the company refuses to resolve the problem. The reason why they have an unsatisfactory rating is because they have not responded to the following:
(2) No response to the problems of delivery
(1) No answer to the question of Service
(2) No answer to the question of Customer Service
(2) No response to refund or Exchange question
This makes 7 "no answers" to various complaints of 36 months. According to their volume of clients, this could be normal or poor. With any fact account, they should at least meet the complaints. I think that any reputable company will respond to all complaints, especially when making these lengths of the BBB.
Online shoppers must also be aware that there was a link with lingerie.com being the site of redirection for a billing rip-off which automatically charges $40.00 every month indefinitely. If lingerie.com was aware and part of it, or a victim, shopping online through them could not be secure.
Last updated: 2/05/2010-Lingerie.com still has a rating of +, but I do think it is fair to mention that indicated under the "Experience of complaint" section:
"Our history of complaint for this company shows that the company gave proper consideration to complaints presented by the Office."
The report of the reliability of the BBB on Sexy deposit (http://www.sexydepot.com) is a f. It's a business, you certainly want to take away! There are numerous reports that show that this company is notorious for the expedition does not orders. However, it's just the d?but gets worse…
Apparently, the way in which this site conducts business is when you order, they do charge not your card automatically. The charge has around 25-40 days later! The worst about it is that they store your credit card information. Popular credit cards used in locations with no consent of the true owner of the credit card was reported. Very ironic that more than one person is reported this...
Complaints are also in on the good, for those who have actually received. They said, it is entered in the incorrect format or bad color, or not what they ordered all the. They also noted that the items were dirty. Gross! I am labelling it a firm, stay away!
Unfortunately, there are many others to add to this list. I'll try to make three at a time on a position in writing later. In the meantime, if you are subject to buy lingerie, or anything, for that matter, online, some that you check if they have complaints about them. Be an informed buyer and do your homework on the company first. After all, you are about to give your credit card information to their. And, for some, which could mean a free trip around the world!
Until the next time…
