“Next Evolution” stands for the traditional patterns that Burlington interprets in a modern way in their Autumn/Winter 2012/2013 fine collection for women. The spotlight continues to be on classic argyles that are variously modified through to total abstraction. The collection is aimed at self-confident, trend-conscious women who enjoy experimenting with colours and shapes. The fashion collection features the original argyle, plus graphic patterns, like hound’s tooth and shepherd’s check, as well as abstract lines that can only be recognised for their resemblance to classic rhombi upon closer inspection. The Autumn/Winter 2012/2013 fine collection will be supplemented by new uni-basic tights.
The 60 denier tights make a dazzling impression through their fine, regular mesh structure, and the microfibres worked into the inside guarantee top wearing comfort. A real eye catcher is the fine rhombi structure that has been applied to the bottom cuff. The collection is strongly characterized by warm shades of brown, such as leather, as well as Bordeaux red and dark green. Vivid royal blue provides noticeable accents.
Warm and coarse materials dominate the Autumn/Winter 2012/2013 knitwear collection for women. Cable-stitch, ribbed structures and Fair Isle patterns distinguish the wintry design. In addition to knee-highs and tights, modern boot socks and legwarmers will be available in various lengths, plus overknees. The highlight of the collection is an argyle overknee with Lurex, which ensures a glittering appearance.
Cool, smoky colours like dusty pink and coral combined with black and grey define the autumn palette of the knitwear collection. In winter, the dominant colours here include warm shades of brown, like chocolate and cognac, supplemented with Bordeaux, orange, golden yellow and dark green. Mixes are an important theme here too, creating a particularly gorgeous effect on the argyle socks and also allowing the Soft Feeling articles to shine in new splendour.
